February Action of the Month
Ask Five People to Join APF!
Growing membership is vital to creating a powerful movement and improving the lives of people living with pain. We need your help! This month’s Action of the Month is to ask five people you know to join APF.
Pain affects millions of people — we can reach those who feel alone with their pain experience and join together to be a voice for change. Please share this page with people you know who may benefit from joining APF.
APF has a variety of programs and services to help people living with pain and their caregivers and family members, including
-
APF’s website – where you can Learn about Pain and find ways to cope and Get Involved in our movement to improve pain care
-
PainAid Online Community – providing 24/7 support for people with pain, family members and caregivers
-
Pain Resource Guide: Getting the Help You Need – designed to help you take charge of your pain care
-
Publications – newsletters, brochures and booklets covering current topics ranging from accessing appropriate pain care to how to live a life of quality
-
PainSAFE – educating and empowering consumers about the responsibility of each person in the safe use of treatments to minimize risk and improve access to quality pain care
-
Exit Wounds – the companion website to the Exit Wounds book, a survival guide to pain management for returning veterans and their families

By building our membership, we will reach the critical mass required to TAKE ACTION when issues arise on a state or national level. In addition, we will extend our reach to those who need our help and want to be involved.
Thank you for participating in the February Action of the Month!
