APF is a member of the Coalition for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans (CIAV). Members of APF's Military & Veterans in Pain Initiative presented a workshop on pain and how it effects the military and veteran communities at the 3rd Annual CIAV Conference in Washington, DC this month.

APF is committed to reaching out to servicemembers and veterans who suffer chronic daily pain and provide them with educational information to improve their pain care, decrease their sense of isolation, and support them in their pursuit of a better quality of life for themselves, their families and caregivers.
